some of the slowdowns can be because I have been uploading constantly since we moved to the new web host. the uploads should be finished this weekend, so next week we will see how much work still needs to be done

When I click on New Posts, it shows them fine, but then it shows The threads below have not been updated since your last visit but still contain unread posts.

Technically they're new posts (which I just haven't read) but no site I've ever been to shows that list. Is there a way to take those away? I only want new posts since my last visit, not 10 pages of threads I don't care about

Click Here and and believe that should go away. I believe this is because since the move everyones cookies got screwed up and need to be fixed. I recommend everyone clicking that.

Some of the site's graphics are missing, such as where it shows your activity/longevity bar and the reply/multi/quick reply graphics have been replaced by hyperlinked text.

          I'm using Firefox.

yep this is all part of the loading/image loading problem. I have resolved the cookie problem, so all I have to work on now is the load problems

I keep getting database errors. I have to go to another site & come back to make it go away.

i am working on it with the new host, their support is much better than godaddy's was. the database errors seem to be in the early morning est, and could be maintenance on the servers

When I leave the it on the main forum page for around 10 minutes without activity, i click on a thread, refresh it or make a shout it takes around 10 minutes to load then the page just times it self out. Also sometimes the page just won't load at all:S So i have to close my internet explorer and go back to what i was doing on a new one..

if you leave it sitting idle like that, it times out. try closing ie instead of leaving it open when you are not actively on the site. having the main page opens still pulls resources from the SB so its kind of a waste
