Request Sections .. Suggestion

While surfing another site a while back I noticed...

Request/Question sections had a kewl option. The thread starter had the option of checking a box that would indicate on the main page whether or not the Request was fulfilled or the Question was answered.

Plenty of times I open a thread... read through a dozen or so responses... to find out that the Thread Starters Request had already been fulfilled.

Not sure if this is possible .. but it might be worth looking into.

Just my 2 cents on how to improve this great forum!

yea that is a good idea, i believe i know what your talking about. i use a site at work some time experts-exchange.com and I believe the feature they use is what you are talking about, i am just not sure what it is called.

i will dig around at vbulletin.org and see if i can find the proper modification. hopefully there is one for vb forums as the experts-exchange one is not vb

it is called Mark Threads as Solved vBulletin.org Forum I will install it and make sure it works then announce when its public.
