the letters in the "Search thread / Search Forum" button are white, so you can't see what you are writing/typing, only Nikola Style

we are working on that, its a known issue

Maybe u could consider changing top banner in Blue skin, because links on the top of the page

How do the Activity points and level thing work ? because 2 or 3 hours before, I used to be on level 28 with more than 8K points and now i'm on level 25 with something like 6K points....

the points changed today after i changed some of the point values and re ran a script to update everyone. click on leaderboard in activity and you'll see the different categories and the top 5 people in each category. you are awarded a set amount of points for each category. i went through today and adjusted all the points to make more sense. like before one point was given for each shout on the shoutbox, which is really kinda stupid IMO. there were also some other goofy points amounts in there, so i went through and changed each category to a realistic number for each category and then ran a script to update everyone. i will make a thread in the whats happening section soon showing how many points are given for each category.

i can also set achievements, which can be used for competitions/prizes as well as usergroup promotions, but i will into more detail on that once i have it all set up

Before I say anything, looks very good new bulletin version.
The search engine is still working incorrectly, can be a lot more precise, I don't even understand why I get the results when I hit the search button.
I think the best way to search are two ways: search for title or search for contents (words can be highlighted when you search in the content).
If you wanna search for an specific post of a member, I think the best way is to just go to his profile!
Also (didn't checked it the bulletin verion) but in vbulletin v3 it was verry ennoying when you want to search for a member and go to member list.
You have to click on the alpabetical letters and go to page 1-2-3-4-5-6-7, so with other words, you can search for it yourself.
Why not make a search button, for example when I need to go to Josh's profile, I search in the member list for Josh. Lot easier.

the member list has a search feature now


as for posts and threads search, that is a long standing issue with vbulletin that has been a complaint for years. I found a modification that fixed it pretty well, but unforunately that mod doesnt work above version 4.0.6 of vbulletin. The issue is not forgotten and will be fixed as soon as possible

Can you bring the quick-edit feature back? You used to be able to click on edit post and it'd bring up the editor on the main page, but now it loads a new page outside of the thread. I don't like that lol

you can go to your user cp, then to the settings under "blog shoutbox activity" and hide some of that stuff in the meantime

well, since i blocked the banner, signatures from other users and stats under user name, everything works fine for me
