VB4 Glitches/Problems Part 2

I am restarting this thread as the other one became a cluster of issues, both resolved and unresolved.

At the time being, the known issues here are:

1. Blog comment overlapping (confirmed issue with vbulletin 4.1.1, I have applied a temporary adjustment to the dark style, and will apply it to the other styles shortly, as we wait for vbulletin to release an official patch.

2. posts/threads getting bunched up. This one seems to only effect a few people, and might be related to browser cache. trying clearing your cookies/cache and try again.


other than that, the issues I know of (unless I missed any) are resolved

please post here any more glitches/bugs you come accross


note: firefox 3 seems to have ridiculously more errors than other browser. i have always found firefox to be a far inferior browsers to the others, even compared to IE lately. firefox beta 4 is a little better but is still buggy/slow. if you can, i highly recommend using google chrome

It's not clear which link above is the FAQ, after some clicking I saw I had to click on Help, not pratical.

yes this is because of an update microsoft did on january 20th. we are still waiting for the vb4 patch from the developer to fix it

i still have the problem i had in the past thread

did you answer the questions i posted on it?

1. which browser are you using

2. is it messed up on every style

3. if it is messed up on every style, does it looked exactly the same on every style

4. does it happen on another browser

please answer those so I can help troubleshoot this

1.im just using internet explorer
2.yeah its messed up with every style
3. Well the problem varies from time to time, i use the dark theme, & sometimes to problem looks different
4. i havent tried a different browser

the forum worked perfect, all of a sudden i got the problems

something in your cache mighta got messed up, or you got a goofy plugin in there

go to:

tools > internet options

click the delete button, check all the boxes, and then press delete

when it finishes deleting, back in tools > internet options click the advanced tab

click the reset button (the personal settings button is optional)

click reset

close IE

reboot your PC


then let me know if it happens again

^cool man, glad it worked for ya.

so as of now, the only known issues are the blog comment overlapping and the xbox live, both of which are known issues that need to be fixed by the developers.

if anyone else has anymore issues, please let me know.

what about the new posts showin up in a different color from the older posts..sometimes i cant tell the new ones from the old ones...not really a big deal tho..

the thing that i circled..it would light up to some orange-ish type color...and you could tell it was a new post...now there white...and you cant tell the difference..
