NM Video Help Thread

This thread is for assistance getting NM Video to work. This thread is NOT for mobile phone issues with NM Video. Now that I have finished the VB4 upgrade, worked out those kinks, and launched NM Video, my next project is to get the video and radio working on mobile phones.

While I work on that, post here if you are having issues with NM Video. Please include the following information to help me troubleshoot:

Operating System (Windows 7, Windows XP, OSX, Linux etc)
Browser you are trying to use (and whether or not it works on other browsers)

Before you post, please try the below plugin if you use Firefox or Chrome

Chrome/Firefox:
Windows Media Player Plugin - http://port25.technet.com/pages/wind...-download.aspx

If you see a window like the one below, you can usually click on it and it should start downloading the plugin you need or take you to a page where you can download the needed plugin.

well i dl'd this and now my wmp wont work at all.just keeps thinking with the circle thing?i uninstalled it and wmp still doesnt work.
if i choose to open a song with wmp it just thinks for a while then gives me some error(didnt write it down)


any suggestions on how to get my wmp working back to normal?

that plugin should have no effect on wmp as it only runs in firefox/chrome, but I would go into add/remove programs and remove the plugin, as well as remove it from firefox addons

i deleted everything having to do with that ad-on and after a restart my wmp is back to normal.
i wonder if being a pirate copy of win7 is the reason it quit working?

i may try to install it again and see what happens...i dont want to miss anything!

that shouldn't be the problem as i also have a pirate copy of win7...and i can see the video...no problem...

Well I used my laptop to try and watch it by doing the add-on on firefox and it works good hope Josh can get it to work on my iPhone soon

^now that NM Video is complete, my next projects are getting the radio and video to work on mobile devices.
