signatures

dear forum team,

i wish you would set a limit for the signatures of the users. especially for pictures.
some got 3-5 pictures and thats really annoying when you try to follow a topic/discussion on the forum. one good picture and a certain size for it, should be enough, besides the avatar, most using too.

ppl out there, dont get me wrong , i know you want this or that in your signature and sometimes it looks like a sport thang but please understand, that we want to do a "fair exchange" on this board / community. maybe change your pictures every day, week or month but try to keep it low.

[MENTION=2030]blacpain ,Click settings at the top right corner of the page, then on the settings page click the general setting link on the left.

then just over half way down the general settings page the is the "Thread Display Options". you will see the show signatures box along with 2 others. untick the sigs one and save changes down the bottom and hey presto

Exactly my thoughts. I actually avoided registering here for as long as I did because of that reason. I would LOVE to see some big restrictions put into place though... I think a small banner and/or text is just fine, but multiple large pictures is just hideous in a signature and really brings the forum down. Until that day happens though I have my signatures turned off as well.

i disable the sigs as well.
its annoying to have to wait for them to load and just make things look messy imo,but as long as i can turn it off then its cool.
