i had to turn off profile customization back when we upgraded to vb.4.1.10. this is because the profile customizer used a certain kind of javascript that caused errors in older browsers. the errors blew up my error logs and slowed the site down a bit, everytime someone viewed their profile (which was quite often due to getting @mentions/quotes/reputation, etc.

after spending weeks tracking down people who were causing the errors, and asking them to upgrade their browsers, and having most ignore my requests, i just said screw it and turned off profile customization altogether for the good of the site.

for now i have turned it back on. chances are the error log will get crushed and site slowdown may occur, if that happens, ill have to turn it back off

on a side note, if anyone sees this post and has issues viewing their profile now PLEASE install chrome, or update firefox to version 11 or better.

you don't need to customize it, well i don't.. takes up too much time, as long as you have a decent avatar and signature (if you want one).... that's sweet in my book


JUST EVERYONE, please change to chrome browser or make sure your firefox is updated to the newest one, reduces bullshit errors
