Site Speed Performance

I have recently done alot more work behind the scenes to try and speed the site up even more. The work I focused on this time was making the site faster for those in other countries than the U.S. (where the site is hosted)

I also spent alot of time minimizing the amount of database queries that take place to take some load off of the server.

Please report back here by voting in the poll and commenting if you feel the site is faster, slower, the same, etc.

Hmmm, I didn't notice a huge difference to be honest, but it was always fast for me. I blend out the user pictures and signatures, so…

maybe a lil bit, problem is since few days my internet seems a lil bit slower than usual.. it takes 2-3 seconds sometimes to load a page..

I don't know. It was always fast for me (well my speed is not that fast, but still).

It doesn't seems faster now if i compare it to 5 days ago, but pages are loaded very fast. Faster than most of the forums i see (that use other software and even vbulletin 4.)

btw finally took the plunge, you were right. my home laptop is running centos 6.3, and im loving it. i may convert the server over to centos as well at some point.
