  • More threads per page?

Is it possible to show more threads per page? now it's like 20 threads a page, i want more. It would come in handy when looking through the ref section

Unfortunately this is not a setting that vbulletin allows to be user customizable. The change has to be made in the AdminCP and would affect every user and every section.

Just curious. What's the reason for not increasing the limit?

I chose to leave it at the default of 20 based of multiple factors, the primary ones being the amount of queries required against the database, and members on mobile platforms. The more threads shown per page, the more queries performed against the database with each load of one of the forumdisplay pages. For people on mobile platforms, it makes their load times longer. Most people have high speed internet, which is not a problem, but there are still a number of members who do not, and having it set to high can make things difficult for them.

For options like the amount of posts shown per thread, vBulletin allows it to be user customizable. Since this one is not, however, I have to set it to an amount that is fair for the whole site.
