On and off for about 8 hours today we experienced a low level DDoS attack from a couple hundred IP addresses in Russia and the Ukraine. Every single IP address was different, and each one had a different hostname, making it very difficult to stop.
I was finally able to find a way to put a stop to it.
Attacks like these are not random. They are done purposely to take down, or attempt to take down websites. Looks like someone out there is jealous of our position firmly on top of the scene.
