Don't know how it would work but it maybe best if you have it set up on the site at the top were it just constantly plays all day and an option to not have it

I will contribute aswell , i have been busy and also at the same time quite tired to digg up stuff to share.

Though hopefully very soon when i get my shit sorted out i can help out too with this radio stuff , put out some interviews and drop some unreleased shit with sharing some thoughts about it before playing the songs, something similar to swerve radio.

i really like this idea.. but is just dont think we really have enough active members for somthing like this.. but then again maybe this will draw some more people in.. i think this site has great potential..

i am working on getting this up now. Once its set up we can have it broadcasting 24/7 using a playlist of mostly 2Pac and Biggie songs, and maybe some other stuff.

Once its up and running we can work on setting up times when we can do shows and what not, like the Money B going way back show. Burns has agreed to do some kind of show already too.

Hopefully if its set up in time, we can do this interview we got planned over the radio, as well as future interviews.

I got all the tools to run this thing, it is pretty simple and is like 10 minutes work.... I have all the files somewhere on my hard drive will find it later.

As for the playlist it is usually an xml file or somethin i dont remember but I had this thing running before

^awesome thats what we need. i know how to do it from my computer but that is not very effective as i mostly use laptops for personal computers and its not always on.

something that i can upload to the web host and use tracks from the server would be fuckin awesome, it would definitely be 24/7 then.

when we do shows we can set it so the person doing the show can pause the current playlist and run the show from his/her pc

^^ the pausing part will not be possible as when you play the radio you actually connect the media player to an IP address or a web address and a port, which means that if some1 wants to run a show they will have to play another station which the host will provide.

just person who has access is pausing the playlist through the server
and is going live through his mic..
of course you will need a program to send live audio playback
like SAM Broadcaster 4
you can also use VDJ or Traktor if you wanna scratch live

Actually when I thought about it, it can be possible in the following way:

some1 who has access to the playlist on the server can add their stream address to the playlist of the server and then play that so it would basically be a forwarded stream to the server... I dont know about the program but I used showcast in the past and thats how I can get it to play.

Yow josh I cant find the files on my PC, but ill look for them on the internet, u might as well help me out by looking for showcast from winamp

i need something that can use the songs already uploaded to the server and can run entirely on the web host.

when burns and others do shows, we just pause what is playing from the server and he takes over using shoutcast or whatever

winamp is a company that released showcast as well as the player just like ipod and itunes, you dont have to run winamp from ur pc to play the radio, it could also be an online server... look it up

that system could work, even if ppl cant go live, they can pre-record their shows and play them thru the server.

and yeah if this runs on shoutcast it would be awesome, i could listen to it without bein on the site thru winamp, and it would serve as a great means of promotion.
