I see quite a lot of new faces here too, so maybe I should start a short and proper introduction...
I remember Chuck Dirty had an album called "The Hunger" with his own picture as the cover.... talk about ironic...
But I heard he lost a lot of weight...
I heard one of his tracks, not so bad... Not bad at all. I think it was called "Ain't no jobs here in Michigan, so I rap"
A little history for those who dunno me:
Me, Dante, Exodus, Lucifer, ChuckDirty, G-Litt and a few other people (I believe Ruckus and Rock were there but I'm not sure... memories become vague..) were operators (mods) on a DC++ hub called "FairXchange". At one time, the hub itself was hosted on my PC and it was THE way back in the days to share 2pac OGs.
I know him since the old days of FairXchange and ThugzMansion hubs on Direct Connect (DC++) back in the late 90's .. we both were operators there and he had his finger on the kick/ban button then, too...
The way the program worked was, you share files and if you share enough you can download from other members too. Being an operator, you don't have to share... but I was also connected to some other hubs which required a minimum ammount of share.. so I shared some WAV files of me rapping on 2pac songs.. just for the lolz. I wouldn't think anyone would be interested in them, my connection wasn't all that so I didn't really like uploading in those days. Then Chuck Dirty downloaded some of my tracks which weren't suppose to be shared... I simply had them there to add more to my "shares" since I had a small hard disk. I was still young back then and it was me rapping Tupac songs (just for fun, nothing serious at all).
It was then that Dante and ChuckDirty started spreading these songs and making fun of me, and also banning me from being a mod. I lost my inside source as Makaveli-Branded (who hooked me up with Ghetto Star, Temptations, Dear Mama full clean acapellas, which were unleaked back then) purely for this reason. Well, I guess they thought they couldn't take me serious anymore after hearing those songs. In hindsight, I can imagine why they thought that ... but they never took the time to look who they were REALLY dealing with behind the screenname "Jossy". They didn't hesitate for 1 moment to make fun of me and spread my voice all over the net... Well, once labeled a clown, I started acting as one too.... and that's how I became "legendary" in a negative way...
Anohter thing..
In the late ninetees and early 2000s there were a lot of 2pac songs and 2pac footage that was considered "common" on that DC++ program, whereas people nowadays would label it as "rare". (Ghetto Star acapella is a classic example... The people at DC++ had this file already for yeeeears... then last year I heard it was a "new" leak and I'm thinking: "Oh you guys didn't have this? Weird, cuz there's already mixes out of it so I thought it was leaked......) This always amazes me... I guess Dante did introduce a culture of "holding back"... and being a young simple mind back in the days, I didn't fancy this "elitist" lifestyle. That along with the making fun of me just cuz of some recorded tracks... made me an easy (ban) target.
All is in the past. No grudges, no hard feelings.
I'm just glad I'm back.Last edited by Jossy; 11-28-2011, 12:16 AM.

^ I remember DC++ hub, I was on that all the time, SOOO much stuff on there, especially back in the day where there was NO place else to get 2pac rares online.
At the time I was buying bootlegs in '98 from "hiphopspot.com", then, in '99 I was buying from this guy running a site called "NME Raps", -anyone remember that? You could even order "Custom" CD's with your choice of tracks, for an extra fee.Last edited by endofdayz; 11-28-2011, 12:30 AM.
