Hey everyone,
I've been a Tupac fan ever since my best friend in junior-high let me barrow his copy of Better Dayz. I remember having that album on repeat for nearly a whole year. In that year I discovered the amazing world of Hip-Hop through the eyes of the greatest artist in history. Classics like "Changes", "Thugz Mansion", and even "The rose that grew from concrete" inspired me to become a lyricist & poet just like the late Tupac Shakur. I consider myself a student of Tupac, and I know I may never reach the same plane as the greatest rapper ever, but I feel that lyricism is lost in the rap game today and I hope to bring that back.
My name is Jawad and I've been writing song lyrics, along with poetry since I was 12. My friend LarsVerb introduced me to this site, and I thought I'd introduce myself properly. I recently worked with LarsVerb on a remix of Thugz Mansion, an "instant classic" as said by many of my close friends, along with others throughout the web.
