Hey, just taking a moment to introduce myself. Programmer from Texas, started writing audio software for friends that DJ and I've steadily been getting more involved in producing as the software grows. Somehow I wound up here after finding that massive multi-track thread and I'm guessing I'll mainly be hanging around the producers sub-forum. Looking forward to meeting everyone.

I may let some fun software or articles slip out now and then, eventually I'll open source the whole when I think it's ready but that will be quite some time. I'm guessing most of the people here wouldn't be interested in talking about the nitty-gritty stuff I deal with day to day though.

[MENTION=2399]GreenL420 Heh, I love servers. Have a rack full at the house.
If you are interested in the programming side of audio, a great book to start with is "The Audio Programming Book"(it's on Amazon). It covers the basics and even enough to have you writing plugins by the end of it. Just make sure you get a copy with the DVD, the book itself is 14 chapters and the DVD has an additional 40 chapters. If you want I can try to dig up a preview for it that's the first third of the book or so.
