This thread is for those who always ask why they don't have VIP, or for VIP's who lose VIP and wonder why. I will explain how the activity modification on the site works.

There is no easy way to explain it, so ill try the best i can. If you look under your reputation bar in each post you see your activity meters. If you hold the mouse over the green/yellow bar under activity it shows your activity percent. You can also see this by clicking stats in the navbar.

Under the activity bar in each post is a bar for today's activity. The green dot is for visiting the forum. the yellow dots are for each post. The way you make your activity go up and down is from those two bars. If your activity bar is lets say 31% and your today bar says that today you have 25% of possible points then your activity would go down a small amount (like .5% at most) if you were to not post again today.

The today bar resets at midnight EST time, so if your current activity was 31% and your total points for today was at 25% and the time reached midnight EST, your activity would go down a little bit.

For members who have never been VIP, once you reach 60 days, and 150 posts, you are automatically given VIP once the activity bar is high enough. (only i know the actual amount)

For members who are VIP, if your activity falls to a certain level (which no one except me knows) VIP status is automatically pulled. to get it back you must raise activity to another level (again only known to me)

Also for the today bar, visiting the site once per day counts as 10% activity, you can visit the site 100 times in a day and it only counts as 10% maximum for your today bar. (the green dot) Each posts represents one yellow dot, meaning at around 8 or 9 posts you have reached 100% for the day.
