So it's been a tough week on the site. Right out of coming off of the URL change and the biggest activity we've ever had, we suffered a site attack that crippled our resources.
We have come out swinging though and are now stronger than ever and back on top. We are now running on our own dedicated server in which I have full control over everything. We no longer have to worry about waiting for the web host support to deal with problems, I can take care of them myself, and we have our own resources for the site.
The site is MUCH faster now, but can still be faster. I went with a low level dedicated server just for testing purposes, but now I have a good gauge on what we need, so we will be upgrading to a stronger server. Luckily, this does not require a change like the move from the previous site to our current server. There should be very little down time if any, it's just a lateral move to upgrade the CPU & RAM. There may be 10 minutes or so of down time while that happens, but that's it.
Once again, I thank everyone for their support on the site over the past week. We are finally completely over these hurdles and ready to bring you what we have planned for September, and much more.
