With a new powerful server, comes the ability too add more powerful features to the site.
I have upgraded the shoutbox. There are now many more features available.
To go through the various features and options, click the drop down on the word shoutbox, and click options. From there you can set the options to your liking. Below is a brief rundown of the new options.
Private Message: This enables you to send private shouts to members in the shoutbox
Notifications: The option to turn off notifications that show in the shoutbox such as PM's, @ mentions, thread tags, thread quotes etc.
System messages: The option to turn off system notifications such as when an administrator or moderator changes a sticky, or prunes, etc.
Shout Style Override: Allows you to set the shoutbox style you want.
Shout Sounds: Allows you to enable sounds when in the shoutbox (Like instant messenger programs)
Shout Area Location: Allows you to set where the input bar is located. (top, left, right, bottom of the shoutbox)
Shoutbox Size: Set the size of the shoutbox that displays for you. This is good for members who like to talk in the shoutbox alot. You can set the shoutbox as big or small as you want.
