Just wanted to let everyone know that we are already heavily working on phase 2 of the reference section, the archive section. I cannot go in to detail just yet on what it is exactly, but it improves upon the reference section greatly. [MENTION=856]LarsVerb [MENTION=911]Wing Chun Ip-Man (BIG GOV) [MENTION=592]Fatal-N-Felony & [MENTION=933]2Lek are leading the show on this one. It is something that has never been done before on the scene.

Work is still continuing on phase 1 of the reference as well by [MENTION=1184]Draven, adding more scans every day, and [MENTION=608]MrMaroosh with the tracks part of the section, and more parts of the reference section are added each week.
A special thanks to [MENTION=808]jin0526who is helping us fill in the gaps.

And yes, there is a phase 3 of the reference, being lead by [MENTION=438]Thugz and even a phase "1.5" of reference, to make a flash based interface of the reference which [MENTION=369]Nikola and I are leading the way on.

Phase 4 of the reference is also in the works, and will be headed by [MENTION=691]MarkyMark

This reference section and all the other sections we release are here to stay, and designed to give future fans the best knowledge, and current fans a tool to teach others, and for their own personal reference. It is also to encourage new fans, and old fans alike to purchase and support 2Pac

I am hearing rumors that a few people are hating on the reference section, saying stuff like "we stole the idea", "its been done before" etc. I dare any of you to find any thing on the net even remotely similar to the reference section we have built. Yes "reference sections" have been done before, but nothing like what we have done, with full scans, category numbers, organized, multi-country releases etc.

These multi phase releases will all be in the near future, but I am not just ready to give release dates yet. What i can say, though, is that after all the phases are complete, everything and anything that can be done for 2Pac besides downloads will be on this site, and completed in a way that has NEVER been done on the scene before.

As for the downloads, we had that covered long ago, and I encourage everyone to read the thread below, for information on that. This is MUCH better than any stupid "vault project" some others may come up with

We have never, and will never ask for donations, or money of any kind. Everything we do on the site is free, paid for by me and upper staff.

Again its for you members, so please while we wait for the next phases, help us build the reference discography by providing scans for us with any of your items we need and new items you may get.

This site has payed for all the three years work of leaks your listening to, it be a good gesture to put something back into the site and help us make this even better

you see instead of relying on external file hosters, what I did for my members is purchase an entire server computer and a domain (www.makaveli.us) to make it easy to reach, and dedicate it to file hosting and radio. this way our members can:

1. download any song, in all versions, from anywhere in the world with an internet connection, with NO wait times, optimal speeds, NO dead links
2. upload and share their versions of their songs

let me try to explain my feelings on this one,

we KNOW other sites claim to have this idea before us, or claim that they are better or bigger... but let me tell u something:

2Pac-Forum.com is still a young forum if u lock into it a bit further... other sites were around before US... so, where is their reference section?? or where is their BIG thing?? i can't see anything to be honest,

we came later but we worked harder, for the FANS... they exist longer than US, but we did wayyy more than them... what i want to say is, it is very obvious that WE are runnin' the show, just look what we've done yet and still doing to make it even bigger!

and for me personally its not about beef or whatever.. it's about PAC, and we definitely help to make PAC fan-base bigger, and try to keep it alive... and we done it excellent so far.. i am very happy to be a member of this site, the site for the fans, the site for PAC! i am sure that is what PAC wanted!!


main thing:

look into our reference section, how huge it is already.. and then look into J's first post wit all the new things we are doing.. this is unreachable, untouchable, and trust me this is not just a work we doing here... every part of staffers do it from heart, for u FANS, and of course for PAC!! that's what a forum is about in my opinion!

this reference section is the Holy Grail of all PAC fans worldwide: u wanna know on which release this remix was? go to reference section! u wanna know who produced this song?? go to reference section! u wanna know on which compilation a song was?? go to reference section! u wanna know who directed a PAC video?? go to reference section! u wanna know what certain articles said about PAC?? go to reference section! ... see, everything on THIS site, u don't have to go to any other site anymore, we got it all covered for you fans!! and it is a good feeling to be a part of it!

so let me thank all of you guys, members, staff, admin, for the creation of the best PAC site ever in the history!!
