Finally we make it to the end of 2012, and the end of the 007 Days of Christmas. Today we close out the year, before tomorrow beginning the new one. Tomorrow we have the yearly announcements and something else coming that I think everyone will be happy about it, but before we get there, let's close out 2012.
The freepost thread will be closing tonight for a good long while, so get those freeposts in while you can.
The Member of the Year vote is currently tied between 2 people, so if you haven't already, get your votes in so we can declare a winner!
For closing this year, I thought of starting a new tradition on the site, thanks to a recommendation from one of our VIP's, [MENTION=6394]BayAreasFinest. Despite 2Pac being dead for over 16 years, there is still a lot of news and new things happening each year, both in the world news, and on the online forums. 2012 was no different, and in fact was one of the more active years in recent 2Pac history.
For the site, this was easily our most active year ever, and the year that we solidified our place as the largest and most active site in 2Pac scene history. A ton of hard work and dedication on the part of many members, staff and non-staff, went in to bringing all the things we brought this year. It's that hard work and dedication that makes this site so successful.
In the world news, this was a fairly active year for 2Pac news, due largely to the hologram performance that put Pac back in the headlines for weeks.
With all the things happening throughout the year, it can be hard to keep track of it all. This is where our new yearly tradition comes in. Starting this year, every year we will bring you a "year in review thread" recapping all the major events in the world news, and linking to all the announcements, releases, updates, & additions to the site over the year. This thread will be a great resource for those who missed out on some or all the years events, or for those who didn't miss out, but want a place to have it all organized into one thread.
The thread can be found at the below link:
2012: A Year in Review
See you all tomorrow for the big announcements, and thanks again for making this site the #1 Spot 4 All Things Pac!
