Today we have a couple things to bring you, an announcement and maybe a few other surprises throughout the day.
First, an awesome special, The Making of All Eyez On Me: Book 1 has been released. Once again conducted by Larsverb, this special chronicles the making of this classic album with:
Dave Aron (Engineer)
Rick Clifford (Chief Engineer)
Nanci Fletcher (Singer)
Dorothy Coleman (Singer)
C-Bo
Fatal
Doug Rasheed (Producer)
Huge props to Lars and all those interviewed for making this happen.
Check it out at the below link, and be on the lookout for Book 2, coming very soon.
The Making of All Eyez On Me: Book 1
Second, a trailer for an upcoming interview with Nanci Fletcher will be dropped sometime today. This is the first time ever that Nanci has been interviewed. She gives us A LOT of really good information. She also said she might do something special for us, which we can hopefully drop with the full interview. More on that later...
Third, announcement time. I would like to announce that the 5th phase of the incredible reference section is just about ready for release. This 5th part will be the Timeline Reference. The Timeline Reference will include every date that relates to 2Pac, from his birth in 1971, all the way through today. It will have every date for:
Audio Releases (albums, singles, promos, soundtracks, compilations, guest appearances, etc)
Video Releases (music videos, movies, documentaries, interviews, commercials, trailers, tributes, live performances, etc)
Photo Shoots
Events (news appearances, concerts, jail time, court appearances, run in's with cops, fights, shows, etc)
This is by far the largest 2Pac timeline ever made, which will be a great addition to what is already, by far, the largest 2Pac reference section ever made. Nothing even comes close to the scale and scope of the reference.
The timeline will be laid out in the perfectly organized Reference Section style, as well as made into a "Flash Timeline" like the Flash Gallery released last year. The current targeted release date is 16-June-2013, as we celebrate Pac's 42nd birthday.
Thanks to everyone who makes this site what it is. In 5 years, we have accomplished more than every other 2Pac site in the history of the scene has combined, and we did it all for free, without ever once asking or begging members to pay just to keep the site alive & running. In the history of our site, we have created the biggest reference section, we have leaked the most songs, we have the largest member base, & we have the most topics. We are by far the largest, and most active 2Pac community, even though we aren't the oldest. This is all due to a tremendous staff and awesome member base. I couldn't be more proud of what we have accomplished together, and look forward to bringing this site, the scene, and the legacy into the future, together.
Here's to 5 more years!
