  • Friday Update - 13-September-2013 - RIP 2Pac 17 Years

    Happy Friday Everyone!

We have made it to the 13th, this time, a Friday the 13th. As everyone knows, along with June 16th, this is one of the two biggest days each year for a 2Pac fan. It has always been this sites policy to celebrate 2Pac's life on this day, rather than focus on his shooting and untimely death.

Before we get into the new things for today, I want to mention the final 3 parts of the Deon Evans interview, that was posted this past week. If you haven't already, be sure to check them out at the below links:

Deon Evans Exclusive Interview Part 3

Deon Evans Exclusive Interview Part 4

Deon Evans Exclusive Interview Part 5

Today we have a number of things coming at you.

First, continuing with the magazine articles that [MENTION=3662]MCNewYork71 has been posting, we bring you an extra special one today. This one is the Right On! November 1997 - Tupac Anniversary Issue, and it is HUGE. Major props to [MENTION=3662]MCNewYork71 for the time involved in scanning this thing. It's really an awesome article. It's too bad almost nobody makes things like this anymore, except for us that is!

Check it out at the below link:

Second, as promised, [MENTION=856]L-Booma has dropped the interview we mentioned was coming. This is one of the best interviews he has done, because of the in depth detail given by the interviewee. Today's interview is with Easy Mo Bee, one of 2Pac's many legendary producers. Easy Mo Bee produced some of 2Pac's best songs including "Runnin' From the Police"

In this interview, Easy Mo Bee talks about:

-How and When He Met 2pac
-Breaking Down the Song Temptations (this is a seriously great breakdown, hilarious too)

Check it out at the below link:

Third, as promised, the Reference Handwritten Section has been released. Inside you will find 4 sub forums:

    Track Listings
    Lyrics
    Poems
    Random Notes

Just about every handwritten work by 2Pac that we have available is included in this section, all organized in the amazing Reference Section style. There may be a couple things missing, but they will be added as we find them. Huge props to [MENTION=3662]MCNewYork71 for his work on this, as well as [MENTION=999]Kevin who also helped out.

Check it out at the below link:

Reference Handwritten Track Listings, Lyrics, Poems, & Random Notes

I would also like to announce, that work is moving along steadily on the next phase of reference. You can expect more on that in the near future. For those who missed it last week, here is a recap of reference, and early look at the future plans.

    Reference Phase 1 - Discography & Information - Released 13-September-2011
    Reference Phase 2 - Video Archive - Released 30-December-2011
    Reference Phase 3 - Versions - Released 16-June-2012
    Reference Phase 4 - Gallery - Released 13-September-2012
    Reference Phase 5 - Timeline - Released - 16-June-2013
Reference Phase 6 - Handwritten Track Listings, Poems, Notes, & Lyrics
    Reference Phase 7 - Coming Soon (2013/2014)
    Reference Phase 8 - Coming 2014
    Reference Phase 9 - Coming 2014/2015
    Reference Phase 10 - Coming 2015

It's truly amazing how massive this reference section is. Each individual section alone is larger than any other 2Pac reference section ever done. Together, they are truly unbelievable in size. For updates on the Reference Section, and to view the release history, you can check out the below thread:

There may be another surprise sometime today/tomorrow, so be sure to stay tuned...

As always, thanks for all the support and dedication on this site. It is the members who keep this site alive. You keep providing us with your support, loyalty, longevity, activity, and love, and the staff will keep providing you the best 2Pac site we can, free of charge, without ads or donations, with new releases, information, features & more!
