Forums Changes

Please use this thread to post all suggestions for the forums (sections on main page) to include name changes, new forums, forums to remove/merge etc...

OK for the music news section, can it be changed to be called music discussion.. and have like a sub forum for the news.. so i can better organize it cause now its all kinda mixed in together. It's news and just general discussion on music artist and stuff.

I have moved it all into the entertainment movies section. Within that section is forums for music news, movie news and television news. Also within there are sections for reviews and new releases, to make it easier to manage and to not clutter up the front page.

or the whole entertainment section have a separated category

Yep...agree with P.N.C. Entertainment News and Music News should be separate.

yea i need to sit down and figure this out a bit more i guess. saturday and sundays are my big days for doing all that stuff. monday-wedensdays work is just been too damn busy lately and thursday and fridays i am off

saturday i will sit down and write it all out and figure out how to do it...for now lay out your suggestions and maybe we can figure it out together....what i am getting now from PNC's suggestion is a completely seperate section called news with threads for games movies etc...?

or leave world news in the block and make an entertainment section with games, movies and music threads, with maybe sub categories for news or reviews or whatever....?

let me know what you all think is best

Entertainment and Music are two big category's on their own. I'm not much of a video game fan, but a lot of other members are, so maybe that should have it's own section as well for new releases, tips, downloads, etc..

It should look like this in my opinion:

ENTERTAINMENT:
sub-forums: movies, television

MUSIC:
sub-forums: album reviews, new releases

GAMES:
sub-forums: new releases, reviews, downloads

something like that...what ya'll think?

see thats wat i wanted....

i wanted it to look like that so i could better organize wat i put in there but it didnt come out that way and i think the music spot wait it should be called the music spot... not bad right... and have a sub forum for news as well everything else was cool

all this under the block section or each one a seperate sectin....i think where we are getting confused is the different terms...to me

section = biggest groups (makaveli, tha block, downloads etc)
forum = under each section (makaveli discussions, grab the mic, comedy hour etc)
sub forum = under each forum (celebrations, condolenses, 2Pac poetry etc)


using that terminology are you saying entertainment, music and games should be sections of forums?

we shud have Entertainment Section/Category
which would include movies, TV, music news and all that media

another Category for Games and stuff

and all that apart from the block

and i started to think we shud close this thread lol
