Quentin Tarantino has brought in actor-musician RZA to play a supporting role in his Western Django Unchained. The two previously worked together on Kill Bill, where RZA served as composer.
Variety reports that this time he'll be in front of the camera as "Thaddeus, a violent slave working on a Mississippi plantation."
The trade adds that Misty Upham (Frozen River) has also been cast. She'll play Minnie, a trading post/bar owner.
