Ask just about anyone who's seen The Avengers -- Mark Ruffalo's Bruce Banner/Hulk is one of the highlights of the film. So even though Avengers producer and Marvel president Kevin Feige recently said that there are no Hulk sequels in the works right now, could it be that the gamma-irradiated one might show up in other Marvel movies?
Ruffalo recently told Collider that he is in fact signed on for six Marvel films. This is of course standard operating procedure with Marvel, locking in talent for multiple pictures -- I hear they've got Agent Coulson signed on for 66 more films -- but what does it mean? Considering how popular Hulk is surely going to be coming out of Avengers, might the studio be reconsidering those sequel non-plans? Could the character show up in Captain America 2? Iron Man 3? Thor 2? Some other Marvel project we don't even know about yet?
I think you can pretty much expect Hulk in Avengers 2, despite the comic-book version of the character's rare stints with the team. And maybe a cameo in one of the other above-mentioned films too? But just because you're signed on for six movies, that doesn't mean you're actually going to make six movies…
