Contagion Continues To Spread The Disease With a Sequel

Really? A sequel? Wasn’t this film pretty much panned by almost everyone that seen it? Well, the film did gross somewhere in the region of $135 million worldwide, so a sequel was pretty much always inevitable.

According to The Grid, Contagion 2 is officially in the works with an OWA (Open Writing Assignment) from Warner Bros with Scott Z. Burns, who wrote the original screenplay will be returning, but as a producer.

It is currently unknown if Steven Soderbergh, who directed the original film, will return for the sequel. Stay tuned for more as news comes in for this one.
