Men in Black III, Will Smith's return to the big screen after four years, is the film that finally knocked Marvel's The Avengers from first place at the domestic box office after three weeks on top. But the sci-fi comedy sequel didn't do as strongly as expected, making it the latest release to underperform this summer.
Here are the weekend estimates via Rentrak. These estimates obviously don't include the Monday/Memorial Day numbers yet, but MIB3 is projected to have a four-day haul of $70 million, well below the $80-100 million reportedly expected:

4. The Dictator $9,600,000
