‘Mortal Kombat’ Remake Begins With Lowly Supermarket Employee?!

Making a few phone calls and doing quite a bit of digging I was able to get some fresh information regarding Warner Bros. Pictures’ forthcoming Mortal Kombat reboot.

With Kevin Tancharoen still attached to direct from Oren Uziel’s screenplay, we’ve exclusively discovered that the live-action reboot will follow a lowly unlucky supermarket employee who discovers that he has out of this world powers and must decide between good and evil, even though the evil side has helped him discover his true potential and who he really is.

The franchise – based on the the video game of the same name created by Ed Boon & John Tobias – follows the best fighters from around the globe who are summoned to an island to compete in a tournament whose outcome will determine the fate of the entire planet.

back in the day the most thought that the Street Fighter movie and the first Mortal Kombat movie were crap but compared to the new Street Fighter and the ideas for the new Mortal Kombat they are just gold and classic movies!

I agree i liked the old street fighter as well i certainly hope that the new remake of mortal kombat doesn't bomb as i was a huge fan and enjoyed both the previous movies let's hope hey do it right

thanks man!! i just watched them... i saw the first 2 episodes when the came out but completely forgot about the others!!.. this is the first ive seen them... i love the scorpion one!! (of course) lol..
