Sam Raimi’s classic is being re-imagined and the first tease comes out of the San Diego Comic-Con lobby. Above and below you’ll find banner images, courtesy of Bleeding Cool, that display the classic imagery that sold Raimi’s 1981 The Evil Dead.
In theaters April 12, 2013 from director Fede Alvarez, “Five twenty-something friends become holed up in a remote cabin where they discover a Book Of The Dead and unwittingly summon up dormant demons living in the nearby woods, which possess the youngsters in succession until only one is left intact to fight for survival.”
