Your favorite dictator is coming to a home theater near you! Paramount Home Media Distribution will bring The Dictator, Sacha Baron Cohen's latest comedy, to Blu-ray, DVD, On Demand and digital download August 21, 2012.
The film, directed by Larry Charles (Borat), stars Sacha Baron Cohen, Anna Faris, Ben Kingsley, Chris Parnell, Jason Mantzoukas and Jessica St. Clair.
The Dictator - Banned & Unrated Version will arrive on home video with two cuts of the film -- the orignal theatrical cut and an all-new extended, unrated version of the film that includes an over 20 minutes of material.
As an added bonus, the Blu-ray will also boast an additional 30 minutes of deleted/alternate scenes in the bonus features section.
The Blu-ray will feature at 1080p HD transfer, with English 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio and French, Spanish, and Portuguese 5.1 Dolby Digital. English Audio Description and English, English SDH, French, Spanish and Portuguese subtitles are also included.
The DVD will be presented in widescreen enhanced for 16:9 televisions with English 5.1, French, and Spanish 5.1 Dolby Digital, also with English Audio Description and the same subtitles noted above.
