With the release of 23rd Bond movie skyfall edging ever closer, producers have released the first image of Ben Whishaw as gadget expert Q.

The Perfume star becomes the fourth actor to play the quartermaster in the movies, following in the footsteps of Peter Burton, Desmond Llewelyn and John Cleese.
Producers Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli said in a joint statement: “It’s a real thrill to confirm the return of Q in Skyfall, played by the enormously talented Ben Whishaw. We are delighted to have this beloved character back in the series.”
Skyfall hits UK cinemas on October 26 and globally throughout November.
