  • Dark Knight Rises/Trilogy

Saw the whole trilogy last night, concluding with the midnight showing of Dark Knight Rises. I'll put up a review later.

A quick one though, not as good as Dark Knight, but still freaking amazing.

it seems I have to kick you in the nutz

The Dark Knight is a great film but Gotham City is to modern an this trilogy ...the Tim Burton movies has a dark, dirty and old vibe and that's what I want to see in a Batman movie

lol did we watch the same movies? dark knight is one of the darkest nights put to film. the 1989 one is WAY more "comicy" than dark knight.

Well i did watch DKR when it came out and i have to say that on the spot DRK was better than TDK in my opinion but after i revised everything TDK is the best in the trilogy and prolly the best batman movie. I did watch the old batman from 1989 and frankly i didnt like Jack Nicholson as The Joker. I dont like that comical, theatrical joker. Heath Ledger defined what would The Joker be like if he really "existed". A dark humorous psychopath who at times made sense.

                      Re: Dark Knight Rises/Trilogy

Well i gota say that Dkr had to close alot of holes in the story so yea theres less action.. Tdk was amazing because of the joker wich out performed christian bale an i also feel the same for Bane wich i loved the route they went with him as an Intelegent Brute.. An that voice was perfect for him. I liked Dkr the best when i first seen it cus i liked how it all unraveld an the way they ended it but when i saw it again i was pretty bored cus it does lack action.. Tdk as best batman movie but Bane as Best villain an its a very close call imho.

On a side not i realy liked Batman Returns as a child... but i was like 5 wen it came out so it was the best at the time

old batman is amazing, new batman is amazing both has their feeling

the older ones has the comic fantasy feeling, and the newer ones got that absolut apocalypse feeling like omg batman has hard time in gotham to survive

in DKR the story line where bane survived and then batman out from that cave wow, just soooo nice!

at all, all parts are really great imo
