‘Saw’ Director’s ‘The Conjuring’ Gets January Release!

Warner Bros. Pictures and New Line Cinema will release The Conjuring (a.k.a. The Warren Files) in theaters on January 25, 2013.

The film, which has yet set on an official title, comes from horror icon James Wan, director of Saw, Insidious and Dead Silence.

Inspired by the supernatural events that happened in the Rhode Island home of the Perron family, Vera Farmiga, Patrick Wilson, Lili Taylor, Ron Livingston, Mackenzie Foy, Joey King, Hayley McFarland and Shanley Caswell all star.

“The Perrons claimed they “lived among the dead” in the 1970s as spirits — both friendly and sinister — inhabited their Rhode Island farmhouse. Vera Farmiga and Patrick Wilson are playing the investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren. Lilli Taylor and Ron Livingston will portray the Perrons.“
