Chloë Grace Moretz and Julianne Moore are combining their considerable powers for the remake of Stephen King's Carrie. Moretz has a pretty big pink prom dress she'll be needing to fill out, because Sissy Spacek was masterful as her role as the first scared, meek and eventually murderous telekinetic darling.
Luckily, a new crop of pictures from Entertainment Weekly look amazing — and properly bloody. However, how is it possible that Moretz even looks good covered in pig's blood? Damn her cheekbones. She's going to have to act extra hard to come across as the strange little shut-in. Then again, she does have Moore acting as her bat shit Jesus freak Momma going for her. And that is a very good thing.
Carrie will be out in March of 2013.
