Liam Neeson's Taken 2 surprisingly pulled in almost $50 million over the weekend, and it looks like FOX is wanting to make a part 3. The news comes from Taken 2 writer Robert Mark Kamen who had this to say in a recent interview with Hollywood.com...
We didn't start talking about [Taken 3] until we saw the numbers. But then we said, 'Oh, okay. I think we should do a third one.' And Fox wants us to do a third one.
The second movie really isn't much different than first movie, and in case you're wondering who else can possibly be taken in the movie, the writer says...
We've taken everyone we can take — it's going to go in another direction. Should be interesting.
The question I have is, if no one is taken in the third movie will it still be called Taken? Did any of you who saw Taken 2 like it, and would you want to see a third one?
