    007's "Best of Bond" Thread

    Alright everyone, post a list in order of your favorite bond films, with a rating out of 10. If you have seen them all, please post all of them. Also in order of best to worst, your favorite bond actors.

    My lists:

    Best Bond Movies:

    1. Casino Royale (10/10)
    2. Goldeneye (10/10)
    3. Skyfall (9.5/10)
    4. Goldfinger (9/10) Only bad thing is bond girl is NOT hot.
    5. The Living Daylights (9/10) Same as Goldfinger, bond girl isn't hot.
    6. The Spy Who Loved Me (8.5/10)
    7. You Only Live Twice (8.5/10)
    8. Thunderball (8/10)
    9. From Russia With Love (7.5/10)
    10. On Her Majesty's Secret Service (7.5/10) Had Connery been in this one, it could have been one of the best
    11. Dr. No (7.5/10)
    12. Tommorrow Never Dies (7/10)
    13. For Your Eyes Only (6.5/10)
    14. Live and Let Die (6/10)
    15. Moonraker (5/10)
    16. Octopussy (5/10)
    17. The World is not Enough (5/10)
    18. Quantum of Solace (5/10)
    19. The Man with the Golden Gun (5/10)

    Best Bonds:

    1. Pierce Brosnan - He 100% has the look. He IS how bond should look, period. It's too bad he got shit for movies besides Goldeneye, which is perfection.

    2. Daniel Craig - He plays Bond PERFECTLY. His portrayal is spot on. If only he had the look, he would be #1 , unbeatable.

    3. Timothy Dalton - Most people didn't like Dalton. I thought he was really good. He had the look and actually played bond closest to how Ian Fleming described bond.

    4. Sean Connery - He did introduce us to bond, and set the whole thing in motion as far as look/attitude, but Sean Connery is just such a fuckin dooshbag lol.

    5. Roger Moore - Doesn't really have the look, and was a bit too comical.

    6. George Lazenby - Didnt have the look, attitude, or anything else.

    not seen them all so I'll just rate what I know

    1. Skyfall (10/10) for Me Perfection on This Movie 2 great bond girls who where great characters too with daniel craig as his very best and of course one of if not the best bond villian Javier Bardem as Silva

    2. The World is Not Enough (8.5/10) One of Brosnan's Best with 3 great bond girls and great characters too, a good villian could have been better that's what let the movie down for me as Sophie Marceau playing Elektra King was the True Villian in the end.
    3. Die Another Day (8/10) My Favourite of the Brosnan Era saw this in the cinima when it came out I was 8 then
    (2002) Halie Berri was Phenominal Best Bond Girl Ever with the True Beauty and Played a Great Character great story of bond falling from grace and rising back up and restoring his honour once again though the main villian failed to live up to expectation as His brother in the film was the best villian again that was not really meant to happen.

    4. Goldeneye (7/10) I didn't really like this one to honest it had great special effects but the villians lacked true fear that a ture villian(s) brings overall good story but failed in many ways for Me.

      your top 5 is almost exactly the same as mine (with the exception being dr no replacing living daylights) after that you lose me alot. A view to a kill isnt the worst bond film!!!!!!!!!

        A view to a kill is a fukin travesty lol. Come on Moore was old as hell. Tonya roberts is boring and way to young for old ass moore in the film. The plot was so weak. And may day!!! Omfg may day is the worst thing in any bond movie ever.

        The only thing this movie had going for it was Christopher Walken, but even he couldn't save it, and the mass killings he did in the movie weren't bond, it was too much.

        Actually the duran duran song is good, albeit not really "bondish"

          a view to a kill beats any pierce brosnan bond film (except goldeneye) for the time you have to remember how much an impact grace jones made (There werent too many black females with haircuts and better physiques than most men) Besides that you have that chick that played 'pola ivanov" i forget her name, but she was a pretty girl

            no way dude, die another day is fukin terrible, and close to the worst, but view to a kill is worse. tomorrow never dies is not too bad, and world is not enough is tolerable. regardless of how much of an impact it made having a strong black woman, the movie is still absolute trash. the skiing down the mountain with beach boys song is probably the single worst scene in all of bond history. i literally cannot watch it. i cringe at it and have to walk away.

            i didnt buy the set, but i am 99% sure someone got it for me for christmas

                      that alone, no. but when added on top of:

                      mayday, who despite being strong or powerful or whatever for black women, is still fuckin terrible in this movie, and still IMO the worst character in any bond film, only almost matched by the 2 short gay guys in diamonds are forever
                      tanya roberts, arguable the worst bond girl ever. dumb as fuck, very unattractive as well. not to mention she was 3 years shy of being HALF moores age
                      moore, is old as fuck in this film, and shows it
                      dialogue, was abysmal in this movie
                      the "johnny 5" robot gadget, that does nothing in the movie but catch grandpa moore and dumb ugly cunt tanya in the shower
                      the gunning down tons of people scenes...this should NOT be what bond is about.

                      plus tons more im probably forgetting. the only movies that come close to it in horridness are die another day and diamonds are forever.

                          The BEST Bond was Connery. Stop your internal dialogue, there's no matching the original. Then Roger Moore.

                          The rest you can toss in any direction. But I do like the Daniel Craig series, not really Bond but they are really damn good to my surprise.
