Evil Dead Remake Has No CGI

I gotta be honest I am completely shocked by the fact that apparently the Evil Dead Remake has no CGI at all in it. Those of you who have watched the recent trailer have to be having the same questions as I do. Fede Alvarez who is directing the remake said via I09 Quote;

We didn’t do any CGI in the movie. There’s no CGI in the movie. Everything you will see is real, which was really demanding. This was a very long shoot, 70 days of shooting at night.

There’s a reason people use CGI it’s cheaper and faster, I hate that. We researched a lot of magic tricks and illusion tricks.

This is an impressive statement if you consider just how insane and violent the red band trailer is. I am absolutely shocked that none of the scenes below are done with CGI. There are a ton of people online calling hogwash, you watch the trailer and tell me do you find it hard to believe this is all practical FX?

THIS is awesome, cgi does really look cheap. Not in all movies but john rambo fir example or the walking dead, it just looks unreal.

good news ...I'm not a fan of CGI ...look at the old horror movies where they used puppets which looks more realistic
