Director Steven Spielberg's classic historical drama Schindler's List will soon mark its 20th anniversary with a Limited Edition Blu-ray Combo Pack release, including a Blu-ray disc, DVD, Digital Copy and UltraViolet.
The 1993 film has been meticulously restored from its original 35mm film negative in high definition, supervised by Spielberg. The Blu-ray will feature all-new bonus content that reveals even more of the story behind Oskar Schindler, a member of the Nazi party who risked his own life to save more than 1,100 Jews during the Holocaust.
"Schindler's List is a rare masterpiece of filmmaking that remains as riveting and moving today as it was for moviegoers 20 years ago," said Craig Kornblau, President of Universal Studios Home Entertainment. "It stands as a powerful reminder of the heroism and humanity of those willing to stand up against intolerance."
Bonus features include a documentary with testimonies from those who survived the Holocaust thanks to Oskar Schindler, as well as a USC Shoah Foundation featurette with Spielberg.
