Rich Moore on his hopes to have the Disney film character appear.
Wreck-It Ralph director Rich Moore says one character who they'd hoped to have cameo in the first movie but didn't could end up being in Wreck-It Ralph 2. And who's that? Why, none other than Tron (played on the big screen and on the small screen's TRON: Uprising by Bruce Boxleitner).
"I can't specifically remember why that [Tron cameo] didn't happen," Moore told ComingSoon. "Of course, with a sequel, I'm hoping that we can find a way to see Tron himself in that movie."
One thing going in the cameo's favor is that Tron is a Disney-owned property so hopefully that could help when it comes to rights issues.
Disney is also developing Tron 3 so having the character pop up in a surefire hit like a sequel to Wreck-It Ralph wouldn't be a bad bit of synergy on the studio's part.
