    Studio unveils info on the home video release of An Unexpected Journey.

    Warner Bros. officially announced today the release of Peter Jackson's The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey Blu-ray Combo Packs. Both versions of the theatrical cut -- the Standard Blu-ray Combo Pack and the 3D Blu-ray Combo Pack -- will feature DTS-HD Master Audio 7.1 surround and are set to arrive on March 19. A 2-Disc DVD Special Edition will also be released the same day.



    The studio also revealed a complete list of special features available on both the 2D and 3D editions of the film, which boasts 130 minutes of bonus content. Here's what fans have to look forward to:

    Additionally, Extended Editions of the film will be made available closer to the holiday season. (More details on that as they become available.) In the meantime, the 3-Disc Blu-ray Combo Pack will retail for $35.99, the 5-Disc Blu-ray 3D Combo Pack will retail for $44.95, and the 2-Disc DVD Special Edition will retail for $28.98.
