Tom Hardy has found his next leading role. Variety reports that the The Dark Knight Rises star is set to take the lead role in Locke. Production is slated to star in London this month, and is being financed by IM Global's specialty division Anthem. The thriller follows "Ivan Locke who has the perfect family and a dream job, but a phone call forces him to make a decision that will put it all on the line."
Steven Knight penned the script. He previously wrote the Jason Statham thriller Hummingbird. Locke reunites Knight with IM Global and Paul Webster, as well as Joe Wright and Guy Heeley's Shoebox Films, who also worked on Hummingbird.
I have enjoyed Hardy's films since Bronson, and am looking forward to see him in a leading role. Stay tuned for more news on this project.
