Warner Bros. lands the rights to Black Mirrors' "The Entire History of You."
Warner Bros. has picked up the rights to an episode of the BBC series Black Mirror to adapt for the big screen, with Robert Downey Jr. producing under his Team Downey shingle.
The studio will be translating the episode titled "The Entire History of You," which "centers on a man with an implant that allows him to record and re-watch all of his life experiences," according to The Hollywood Reporter. "He begins to suspect his wife is having an affair and obsessively tries to find evidence until the relationship falls apart."
In the movie, the story will follow a man who uses similar technology to re-experience past events and reconstructs his relationship with his dead wife -- from her point of view -- and unknowingly uncovers a vast conspiracy.
Downey is not attached to star at this point.
