The Amazing Spider-Man’s costume just got an upgrade

The first pic of Andrew Garfield's new duds in the Amazing Spider-Man 2 were revealed today, and while the changes are simple, they're also definitely better. Gone is the rubber, bumpy texture of the original, which made it look like Peter Parker had sown the entire thing out of basketballs; now the texture is much more subtle, the costume actually looks like it's made of some kind of fabric, and the eyes are now a pleasing, very-reminiscent-of-the-comic white! I approve mightily, which I'm sure director Marc Webb was waiting to hear. You can go ahead and make the movie, Marc. You have my permission.
