Who is up for more Ghostbusters 3 chatter? Well, whether you like it or not, you’ve got it. So here we are again with more potential plans for the third Ghostbusters film and yet again, we don’t know whats the truth, and I’m pretty sure many of you couldn’t care less.
So, we have heard countless rumors for the past several years and many attempts at getting Bill Murray to return, but all have failed, so where could the sequel be now?
Well, according to B-D, an unknown source has exclusively let them know that Ghostbusters 3 may in-fact turn out to be an animated movie.
According to the site this was the original plan back in 2007, and according to them it looks as if this might be the path that they take.
But as always, we any Ghostbusters 3 news, take this with a grain of salt as we are sure to hear more tales in the near future.
But what do you guys think? Would an animated sequel work? Or have you just gave up on the franchise and couldn’t care less?
Update : Bloody-Disgusting is reporting today a rumor that Sony Pictures may want to make Ghostbusters 3 an animated film.
"Sony is looking to do Ghostbusters 3 as an animated film, a source exclusively reveals to Bloody Disgusting. This was the original plan back in 2007, which eventually resulted in the incredible 2009 video game," the site says.
We talked to the studio, which said that the report is not true. They continue to develop a new live-action version and there is no animated movie in the works.
