Lincoln actor David Strathairn is looking to join the cast of director Gareth Edwards' remake of Godzilla. Aaron Johnson, Elizabeth Olsen, and Bryan Cranston are also currently in talks to star in the film.
So far, all we know about the film's plot is that it will include more than one giant monster and the story would revolve around a soldier played by Johnson. There's not much info on who anyone else plays but apparently Strathairn will be some kind of military figure in the story.
Frank Darabont (The Walking Dead, Shawshank Redemption, The Mist, The Green Mile) is working on the script, and the movie is set to hit theaters May 16th, 2014.
