You might not know this, but Adam Sandler's Grown Ups was his most successful movie to date pulling in over $271 million worldwide. That's why we're getting a sequel. The first film isn't Sandler's worst movie in recent years, but it wasn't great either.

The story for Grown Ups 2 finds "Lenny (Sandler) having relocated his family back to the small town where he and his friends grew up. This time around, the grown ups are the ones learning lessons from their kids on a day notoriously full of surprises: the last day of school.

Kevin James, Chris Rock, David Spade, Salma Hayek, Maya Rudolph, and Maria Bello are all back to reprise their roles with Nick Swardson joining the cast as well. The movie hits theaters on July 12th, 2013
