The viral images for Guillermo del Toro's Pacific Rim continue to roll in, and the latest ones feature a big pile of Kaiju poop and a city being rebuilt around the bones of a long-dead Kaiju monster. I love that Del Toro is including all these little details that always seem to be ignored in other big monster and disaster films. Cleaning up Kaiju crap looks like a terrible, terrible job. But I guess someone's got to do it.
Pacific Rim stars Charlie Hunnam, Idris Elba, Rinko Kikuchi, Charlie Day, and Ron Perlman. The film is set to hit theaters July 12th, 2013.
When legions of monstrous creatures, known as Kaiju, started rising from the sea, a war began that would take millions of lives and consume humanity’s resources for years on end.
