Lionsgate Announces a 2014 Release Date for The Vatican Tapes

Over the past few months we have heard bits and pieces regarding Mark Neveldine’s (Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance) flick The Vatican Tapes, for Lakeshore Entertainment. And while we still don’t have much to go on, we do know that the film has scored distribution.

According to Deadline, Lionsgate will unleash The Vatican Tapes in the Fall of 2014. The film is scheduled to begin production this July.

The film follows a series of events that unfold after a tape gets leaked from the Vatican displaying an exorcism that goes wrong.

The whole idea looks good. Now the director, i dont know him but Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance was crap so hopefully this project'll be better.
