Cropsey is a documentary made by two Staten Island natives that wanted to find out if the urban legend about an escaped mental patient that was kidnapping children in abandoned buildings and the woods was true when they were younger or if it was false. What they found out shocked them and is what this documentary is based upon. I just finished watching this last night and I have to say this was one of the most unintentionally creepy documentaries I have ever seen. The film makers don't try to scare you but because of the subject matter in the film it's very unnerving. I highly recommend it and it will get you to think for sure!
