  • Robert Downey Jr. Tops Forbes' 2013 List: Highest Paid Actors

Who's is Hollywood's highest paid actor? Iron Man, of course, aka Robert Downey Jr.

He tops Forbes' newly released list, Highest Paid Actors (2013), earning an estimated $75 million between June 2012 and June 2013.

Downey has starred in six movies that have each grossed over $500 million at the box office worldwide. All include the Iron Man film franchise, but The Avengers and Iron Man 3 each earned over $1 billion.

At one point, Hollywood had all but given up on the actor after bouts with drug addiction. But, when he won the role for the first Iron Man film in 2008, things turned around.

In at #2 is heart-throb Channing Tatum, who racked up $60 million in earnings. He and director Steven Soderbergh self-financed the movie Magic Mike -- the $7 million movie brought in $167 million at the global box office and is a growing business. A Broadway show is in the works, as well as a line of bars and a sequel.

Hugh Jackman lands at #3 with an estimated $55 million in earnings between June 2012 and June 2013. According to Forbes, most of his money comes from his work as Wolverine in the X-Men films. His latest film, The Wolverine, hits theaters later this month.

Mark Wahlberg ranks fourth with $52 million. The 2012 comedy, Ted, was a surprise hit of the year, raking in $550 million at the global box office, but costing just $50 million to produce... which helped Mark boost his earnings.

Rounding out the top five is Dwayne Johnson. The former wrestler had a film in the top 10 for 10 weeks in a row. His latest, Fast & Furious 6, earned $695 million on a budget of $160 million. His estimated earnings are $46 million.
