Hot on the heels of Harrison Ford joining The Expendables 3 -- and Bruce Willis dropping out -- comes word that Mel Gibson and Antonio Banderas have also joined the latest sequel to Sylvester Stallone's action-spectacular brainchild.
EW reports that Gibson, as previously rumored, will play the villain of the film. No word yet on who Banderas has been cast as... perhaps we're looking at an Assassins redux with his old co-star Stallone?
Gibson, meanwhile, will also play the bad guy in Machete Kills.
